By accessing or using The Truth application, website (thetruthuncut.org), or any related services (collectively, "the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Catalyst Tutoring LLC.

All original content on this Platform — including but not limited to AI-generated biblical responses, lesson plans, devotionals, trivia questions, course materials, study guides, sermon outlines, platform design, branding, and user interface elements — is the exclusive intellectual property of The Truth / Catalyst Tutoring LLC. This content is protected under United States and international copyright law (17 U.S.C. § 101 et seq., the Berne Convention, and the WIPO Copyright Treaty).

3. Scripture & Public Domain Content

All scripture quotations are taken from the King James Version (KJV) of the Holy Bible, which is in the public domain in the United States. The KJV text is reproduced for educational, devotional, and ministry purposes and is not claimed as original content of this Platform.

4. Permitted Use

You may:

• Use Platform content for personal, non-commercial Bible study and spiritual growth.
• Share individual AI responses or scripture references for personal ministry use, provided clear attribution to "The Truth (thetruthuncut.org)" is included.
• Print or download materials generated within your account for private classroom or ministry use.
• Export sermon slides to your personal Google Drive via the Google Slides integration for your own ministry use.

5. Prohibited Use

You may not:

• Reproduce, republish, or redistribute any Platform content for commercial purposes without express written permission.
• Sell, license, sublicense, or transfer any content generated on this Platform.
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically copy Platform data, lessons, trivia questions, or AI outputs.
• Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright notices, branding, or attribution present on this Platform.
• Use Platform content to train AI models, build competing products, or develop derivative works without written consent.
• Misrepresent the source of any content as your own original work when it was generated by this Platform.
• Use the Google integrations for any purpose other than your own authorized ministry or teaching use.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts, Google data, or classroom records.

6. Google Slides Integration

The Truth offers an optional Google Slides export feature that allows users to export sermons directly to their personal Google Drive. By connecting your Google account, you agree to the following:

• You authorize The Truth to create Google Slides presentations in your Google Drive on your behalf using the minimum required OAuth scopes.
• You are responsible for the content exported to your personal Google account and its use thereafter.
• We will only access your Google account to perform the specific action you request (creating the presentation). We do not read, modify, or delete any existing files.
• You may revoke this access at any time through your Profile settings or directly at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
• This feature is subject to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
• The Truth's use of Google API data adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements.

7. Google Classroom Integration

The Truth offers an optional Google Classroom integration for teachers to share assignments with their classes. By connecting Google Classroom, you agree that:

• Teacher Responsibility: You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of this integration complies with your school's, district's, or institution's data governance and privacy policies.
• Student Data: You acknowledge that student data (names, emails, assignment submissions) may be processed in real time. You represent that you have obtained all necessary consents and authorizations from your institution, parents, or guardians as required by FERPA, COPPA, and any applicable state law before using this integration with students under 18.
• Age Restrictions: By using the Classroom integration, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older, and that any students under 13 in your class have had parental consent obtained by your institution in accordance with COPPA.
• No Storage of Student PII: The Truth does not permanently store student personally identifiable information retrieved from Google Classroom beyond what is needed for the immediate session.
• Institutional Authorization: If your institution requires a Data Processing Agreement (DPA), please contact us at support@thetruthuncut.org before use.
• This feature is subject to Google's Terms of Service and the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements.

8. User-Generated Content

Content you personally contribute to the Platform (e.g., prayer requests, testimonies, personal study notes) remains your property. By submitting content, you grant The Truth a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content within the Platform for community and ministry purposes. We will never sell your personal content to third parties. You represent that any content you submit does not infringe any third party's rights and complies with these Terms.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. All AI-generated biblical content is provided for educational and spiritual growth purposes only. While we strive for KJV accuracy, users should verify all scripture references independently and consult qualified clergy or biblical scholars for theological guidance. The Truth / Catalyst Tutoring LLC does not claim doctrinal authority. We make no warranty that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CATALYST TUTORING LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF REVENUE OR PROFIT, UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO YOUR GOOGLE ACCOUNT OR CLASSROOM DATA, RELIANCE ON AI-GENERATED CONTENT, OR ANY OTHER MATTER ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THIS PLATFORM, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Catalyst Tutoring LLC and its members, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Platform; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third party's rights including FERPA, COPPA, or Google's Terms of Service; or (d) any content you submit to the Platform.

12. Trademarks

"The Truth," "Catalyst Tutoring," and associated logos and branding are trademarks of Catalyst Tutoring LLC. Use of these marks without prior written consent is prohibited. Google, Google Slides, and Google Classroom are trademarks of Google LLC. Catalyst Tutoring LLC is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google LLC.

13. DMCA & Copyright Infringement

If you believe any content on this Platform infringes your copyright, please notify us in writing at support@catalysttutoring.com with the following: (1) identification of the copyrighted work, (2) identification of the allegedly infringing material and its location, (3) your contact information, (4) a statement of good faith belief, and (5) a statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury. We will respond promptly in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512).

14. Account Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we determine in our sole discretion that you have violated these Terms, misused any Google integration, or engaged in conduct harmful to other users, students, or the integrity of the Platform. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform immediately ceases.

15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Catalyst Tutoring LLC is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting us. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against Catalyst Tutoring LLC.

16. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notice. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
